The Taylor County Clerk’s office is responsible for administering elections in the county and plays an important role in ensuring that elections are fair and accurate. The County Clerk’s office is responsible for registering voters in the county, providing voter information to the public, administering elections, and resolving election disputes. All registered voters will receive the same ballot, regardless of how the voter is registered.

County Clerk’s office shall receive (no earlier than the seventh day preceding the election and no later than noon of Election Day) an Emergency Ballot Application from the voter or a member of the voter’s immediate family. The Emergency Ballot Commissioners will make arrangements to deliver ballot to the voter admitted in a Medical Facility in Taylor County or another Medical Facility within in a 25 mile radius of the Taylor County Courthouse.
